"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm"
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Soil health is a matter of every one. Because soil health is the basis of life. Not only it provides plants with nutrients, but it also stores water, CO2, habitat for important living organisms, and much more. However, more than half of the world farmland are already degraded. Therefore, in 2019, a group of ETH student gathered to work together on enabling farmers with a way to improve their soil health, and called their project Digit Soil. After two years, Digit Soil has become a company and has developed successfully a sensor enabling to monitor soil biological quality that has been used in several projects already.
